Royal Bay

Royal Bay is one of the largest land‑development projects on Vancouver Island, transforming a 250 ha former gravel pit into a fully serviced, waterfront master‑planned community. Our team delivered comprehensive civil concrete testing and density analyses across extensive roadway and infrastructure networks. By verifying soil compaction, concrete strength, and aggregate specifications, we ensured that new access routes—such as Metchosin Road, Latoria Boulevard, and Ryder Hesjedal Way—met specifications for long‑term performance and safety as the community builds out toward full occupancy.

We provided specialists that carried out field density surveys and concrete sampling at key phases: road subgrades, stormwater infrastructure, and multi‑use pathways, providing compliance with municipal and provincial standards. Our results helped ensure longevity of these assets.
