Malahat Skywalk

The Malahat Skywalk, an eco-tourism initiative on the traditional territory of the Malahat Nation, features two primary structures: the TreeWalk, a 600-metre long elevated walkway, and the Spiral Tower, an 84-metre high observation tower.

To address the unique geotechnical conditions, the foundation design for both the TreeWalk and Spiral Tower incorporates advanced engineering solutions. These include the use of uplift anchors designed to prevent the structure from tilting or uplifting given the high wind loads and local seismicity, ensuring the safety and longevity of this landmark destination.
